چکیده
Stereolithography-based additive manufacturing of ceramics has received tremendous attention in academic and industrial communities. In order to fabricate silicon carbide (SiC) components with complex shapes by stereolithography, a high SiC loaded ceramic slurry low viscosity excellent curing ability is required. However, it challenging meet these requirements. this work, the effects resin formulation, dispersant, particle size, solid content ball milling time on properties were systematically studied. The slurries prepared using four precursor powders having different sizes modified temperature oxidation reduce its UV absorbance. Additionally, suitable for stereolithography under appropriate processing parameters, geometrically green bodies subsequently fabricated.

A Novel Extrusion-based Additive Manufacturing Process for Ceramic Parts
An extrusion-based additive manufacturing process, called the Ceramic On-Demand Extrusion (CODE) process, for producing three-dimensional ceramic components with near theoretical density is introduced in this paper. In this process, an aqueous paste of ceramic particles with a very low binder content (<1 vol%) is extruded through a moving nozzle at room temperature. After a layer is deposited, ...

Hybrid stereolithograpgy (SLA) process synthesizes the laser scanning based SLA system and mask projection based SLA system. It adopts laser as the energy source for scanning the border of a 2D pattern, whereas a mask image is used to solidify the interior area. By integrating the merits of the two subsystems, the hybrid SLA process can achieve relatively high surface quality without sacrificin...
متن کاملPulmonary effects of exposures in silicon carbide manufacturing.
Chest x rays, smoking histories, and pulmonary function tests were obtained for 171 men employed in the manufacturing of silicon carbide. A lifetime exposure to respirable particulates (organic and inorganic fractions) and sulphur dioxide was estimated for each worker. Chest x ray abnormalities were related to respirable particulates (round opacities) and to age and smoking (linear opacities). ...

Semi-insulating silicon carbide (SiC) is a fully processable semiconductors substrate that is commonly used as an alternative to conventional silicon (Si) in high-power applications. Here we examine the feasibility of using SiC as a substrate for the development of minimally invasive multi-sensor micro-probes in the context of organ monitoring during transplantation. In particular, we make a th...
